Merel advises, draws up contracts and litigates on a wide variety of issues in the fields of media law, copy right law, brand law, and privacy law.
In order to show that the law is anything but boring, Merel started the blog Rechtbuigen.nl in 2014. In it, she provides a fresh perspective on legal topics.
Merel teaches Law at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (Academy of Theatre and Dance) in Amsterdam and is a member of the editing team at Mediaforum, a journal on media and communication law.
